MEISSA measures barely 22 cm in height, which keeps it discreet enough to hang beside a bedside table, in a compact entryway or along a small hallway without dominating the space. Yet its sculpted three-dimensional presence, its brushed metallic band and its refracted light give it the impact of a much larger statement piece, a rare combination of restraint and character in a small format.

Because the fixture reads as an ornament first and a light second, it slips naturally into a variety of interior schemes: it belongs above a mid-century walnut nightstand as easily as against a moulded panelled wall in a more traditional living room, and it holds its own next to marble, plaster, timber or wallpaper alike.

The two moulded acrylic loops are set at a subtle offset and joined by a slim polished brass band at their center, creating a single continuous silhouette that reads as one interlocked ribbon rather than two separate elements.

Along the surface of each loop, a network of fine vertical striations catches the internal LED and breaks it into a dense field of tiny reflections, so the glow travels along the acrylic in soft parallel lines rather than as a flat wash. The effect is quietly precious, the sconce reading less like a light source and more like a small piece of illuminated jewellery mounted on the wall.
